**Position Requirements**:
At a minimum, the selected individual must possess the following characteristics:
- Advanced fluency in English speaking and writing.
- Undergraduate degree in accounting or finance is required.
- Minimum 4-5 years of relevant manufacturing accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and SOX requirements.
- Self-starter who possesses an attention to detail.
- Team oriented with strong leadership skills.
- Strong time management, organizational, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible and adaptable to a changing environment.
- Ability to multi-task and self-manage deadlines with a strong sense of accountability to manage workload.
- Strong technology skills, particularly advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in a major ERP is required.
Experience in Oracle EBS, ARCS and FCCS (Hyperion) is a plus.
**Position Responsibilities**:
The primary responsibilities for this position include the ability to:
- Manage and lead the Americas region costing team.
- Oversee the entire inventory accounting and costing process for the Americas region including:
- Management of all inventory master data within Oracle EBS including item creation, item costing and inventory adjustments.
- Review of internal and third-party inventory location reconciliations.
- Review of work order variance analyses.
- Preparation and review of quarterly variance analyses and inventory reserves.
- Preparation and review of month end reconciliations related to inventory accounts.
- Manage and direct the Americas region annual standard cost update.
- Manage and direct the worldwide annual physical inventory count.
- Communicate with all levels of management regarding inventory balances, inventory movement, inventory variance analyses, inventory reserves, and inventory costing.
- Communicate with and direct the worldwide costing team to drive corporate policy and procedures.
- Support monthly forecast on inventory and cost.
- Maintain SOX controls and update SOX documentation as required.
- Support quarterly reviews and annual audit with external auditors.
- Ad-hoc projects.
