.The Cost Accounting Manager is expected to play a key business partnership role with local management and other functions to deliver and improve productivity. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to coordinate and assist with financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and month-end processes, analyzing financial statements and reports, developing financial models, preparing projections, and performing research and analysis that may be required by management.**Responsibilities**:- Maintain integrity and accuracy of the cost accounting system.- Ensure there is an accurate recording of inventory, variances and expenditure transactions.- Build financial models to track overall business performance and develop financial projections (What-If scenarios).- Review and analyze financial statements and reports and prepare variance analysis explanations (Actual Vs Budget Vs Forecast).- Present risk and opportunities based on findings that help us implement corrective courses of action that improve site profitability.- Responsible for month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes.- Support regional controller with Annual Operating Plan and Forecasting processes.- Analyze and monitor inventory value and inventory accruals such as Excess and Obsolete.- Assisting project teams with financial guidance and resolve inquiries from business partners.- Improve current financial processes and optimize resources.- Ensuring compliance with financial guidelines and company policies and prepare local financial policies as needed.- Review Balance Sheet account reconciliations and assure integrity of the balances.- Train and develop cost accounting team.- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.**Diversity & Inclusion**We believe that different perspectives and backgrounds are what make a company flourish. We are proud to be an inclusive company with values grounded in equality and ethics, where we celebrate, support, and embrace diversity.**The Individual**- University Degree (BA degree) required in Finance / Accounting / Engineering.- 6-8 years of experience.- Excellent Microsoft Office knowledge (Excel / PowerPoint).- Experience with standard costing, bill of materials, inventory valuation and ERP/MRP systems (Oracle & Hyperion experience a plus).- Strong business and finance acumen.- Advanced accounting, analysis and research skills and successful navigation of managing conflict while maintaining and activating progress.- Ability to manage multiple evolving requests and changing priorities, anticipate and plan for contingencies and meet deadlines.- Work under mínimal supervision
