.An exciting career awaits youAt MPC, we're committed to being a great place to work - one that welcomes new ideas, encourages diverse perspectives, develops our people, and fosters a collaborative team environment.:This position supports the Latin America business unit and is responsible for the day-to-day accounting and reporting activities of multiple processes.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Cost Reconciliation at BOL level- Maintain spreadsheets showing imported truck costs vs billing/customs/SAP- Tie cost of sales, price, and volume by BOL- Provide list of GRs ready for IR to AP.- If necessary, reprocess PO/GRs to change pricing/volume- Reconcile E4P RightAngle (Marathon Team) with PS4 SAP (Mexico Team)- Daily BOL reconciliation between two systems to make sure quantity and amount match.- Prepare Journal Entries for Accruals if necessary- Adhoc Reports- Help construct volumetric controls / CRE / and LIFO-FIFO reports- Gain/Loss threshold % reports by terminalEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field- 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance maintaining accounting and financial records and reports- Experience working with multinational companies is preferred- Oil and Gas industry is preferred- Proficient knowledge in MS Excel is required, advanced is preferred- Must be Bilingual - Fluency (speaking and writing) in both Spanish and English- Understanding of IFRS and Mexican accounting processesSKILLS:- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, financial statements and reports, and ledgers and journals- Proficiency in using accounting or related systems- Strong ability to multi-task and adapt in ambiguous environments- Strong oral and written communication skills- Ability to review and analyze the most complex accounting information- Ability to identify, research and resolve complex accounting issues- Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment and promote teamwork- Required travel up to 10% of the time- Required to work extensive hours and sometimes over weekends with appropriate flexibilityAs an energy industry leader, our career opportunities fuel personal and professional growth.**Location**:Tijuana MXAdditional locations:Mexico City MXJob Requisition ID:00008626Location Address:Calle Diego Rivera No
