**Cost Analyst**
The Cost Analyst is an integral part of the finance department and plays a significant role in daily, monthly, and yearly accounting and analysis of manufacturing and operating costs and hours earned, standard cost and variances, inventory, including surplus and obsolete materials.

**Main Job Duties**:
- Responsible for assisting in the completion and analysis of monthly manufacturing productivity schedules.
- Assist monthly detailed review of manufacturing expenses with each site's leader to identify performance to budget/forecast.
- Assist in all Group financial reporting through the timely and accurate completion of BPC COGS, fixed asset, inventory and purchasing schedule.
- Drives process improvements in all job requirements and looks to utilize LEAN and Six Sigma tools.
- Performs monthly journal entries and reconciles General Ledger accounts.
- Assists with internal and external audits.
**Qualifications**
- Education:_
- Experience:_
- 3 - 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:_
- SAP, Business Intelligence and Business Objects.
- Requires strong organizational, communication and time/project management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to acquire and grow skills on specific accounting/IT systems (SAP, BI, Business Objects, BPC, SharePoint).
- Analytical skills and exceptional ability to data mine and work with complex and at times incomplete or directional information.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively across all levels of management.
