**Primary Purpose of the Position**:
- Manage expenses across the logistics operations giving guidance to all logistic areas.
- Ensure to follow local and regional policies.
- Responsible to oversight and manage all finance information within the Supply Chain area and supports all other finance related initiatives.
- Responsible to create weekly and monthly follow up of actual expenses vs forecast with all logistic areas.
- Responsible for the process and management the third part vendor to review and audit all freight & transportation invoice. Ensure that all freight payments are executed correctly, respecting all agreements established with each carrier in MEXICO.
- To be the focal point between Supply Chain and other departments as FP&A, Treasury, and Internal Control.
- Detect areas and opportunities to improve supply chain costs
- Coordinate AOP, monthly/quarterly reporting and special analyses as needed
- Summarize and communicate financial and operating results against objectives
- Communicate and manage financial supply chain KPI's
- Ensure reporting and submission requirements are met.
- Manage Import expenses control and reports to ensure a proper follow up
- Consolidate and coordinate Cost Trend Information and all savings projects reports in Supply Chain
- Implement financial analysis tools to improve performance leading all reporting activities, estimates and analysis
**Principle Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for the financial reporting processes accurate and timely, this includes the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statement closing procedures, account reconciliations, and establishing judgmental reserve balances.
- Maintain effective communication and relationship with local and regional leadership team.
- Provide timely and accurate account analysis and reporting. Analyze accounts under his/her responsibility explaining any deviation or pending items.
- Maintain accounting entries aligned with company policies and local requirements.
- Ensure that all freight payments are executed correctly, respecting all agreements established with each carrier in MEXICO.
**Education**:
- Bachelor's degree in the field of finance or business management
**Experience**:
- '3-5 years accounting or finance experience, either within an FP&A team or otherwise.
- Experience managing teams and directing executive meetings.
- Intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn new and different topics
- Ability to meet communicated schedules and deadlines
- Flexible approach to work and evolving organizational priorities
- Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationship
- Desired experience in tire or automotive or tire industry.
