As a result, our people get to work on some of the most exciting projects in the world._The Cost Manager, also known as Quantity Surveyor, ensures building projects remain within budget. This role provides cost and material estimates, draw up projected budgets, and work alongside a team, noting any design changes and their effect on cost. Cost Manager often liaises with builders, architects, engineers, and other contractors.This role is to provide cost control and estimating services on our technology client's Data Centre construction programs.The Cost Manager demonstrates a methodical approach and superb interpersonal skills. Outstanding Cost Manager is not only great at analysing costs, but they also know how to read people and tailor their negotiation strategies to ensure the best possible outcome.**Qualifications**:**Education / Experience**:- Bachelor´s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Civil - Mechanical Engineering or related- Minimum of 7 years professional experience.- High degree of accuracy and local market cost knowledge- Fluent English & Spanish- RICS, "preferable" AACE CCP, CCT "preferable"**Responsibilities**:- _ Assisting on feasibility studies and writing procurement reports_- _ Estimating and cost planning to include producing and presenting the final cost plan_- _ Development of the cost procedures. _- _Tendering and procuring, including managing the pre-qualification stage, producing the tender list, putting the preliminaries together, tender analysis, producing the tender report and compiling the contractual documents_- _ Dealing effectively with post contract cost variances and the change control processes, where applicable referring major changes to line manager_- _ Review and approve subcontractor proposals, manage contracts and change requests
