.Eaton's VEH EMB eMobility division is currently seeking a Cost Productivity Lead.**What you'll do**:**Main goal: Provide a short overview of the role.**Responsible for implementation of new products, Value Engineering, productivity, and Engineer to Order by meeting specifications, timetables, budgets and objectives. Executes on implementing improvements to the designs. Actively participates in generating new ideas and concepts for new products and cost savings on existing products.**Job Responsibilities and authority**:1 Executes on implementing improvements to the designs. Actively participates in generating new ideas and concepts for new products and cost savings on existing products.2 Achieves production cost reductions and productivity improvements through knowledge of metal fabrication and assembly processes3 Lead the initiative to define target product lines for VAVE and rationalization. These are typically products planned to continue future sales, but may not be competitive in the market due to a high base cost.4 In coordination with marketing and engineering, identify competing products and lead the initiative to gain insight to cost opportunities which may be applied to Eaton products.5 Lead cross functional VAVE events to identify potential, actionable changes to design, material selection, etc. that lead to cost improvements through the engineering process.6 Work cross-functionally with other functions at global level. This requires the incumbent to have ambition, drive, enthusiasm and strong practical engineering experience to compliment his/her technical ability7 Achieves production cost reductions and productivity improvements through knowledge of metal fabrication and assembly processes.**EHS Responsibilities**:- Separate hazardous waste from the common waste.- Place hazardous waste (gloves, rags, etc.) in assigned containers.- Keep clean the work area contaminant free.- Do not waste water.- Report any activity that may jeopardize my safety and the environment.- Identify and properly dispose all the chemicals that may contaminate the environment.- Ensure the correct container for the disposal of hazardous waste (identified containers and containers to prevent spills).- Report the entry of new Chemicals required for Maintenance purposes due to maintain a record updated and assure the compliance of the correct handling of them.- Contain oil spills and repair as necessary.**#LI-MM3****Qualifications**:**Qualifications****Education level required**:- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Electronics or Mechanics (or similar).**Years and area of experience required**:- 3- 5 years of experience on similar role.
