- Work on-site in Aguascalientes, Mexico at least 3 days/week
- Play a key role as a legal advisor on a variety of contractual and corporate matters
- Draft and negotiate transactional documents in a timely manner, including complex sales, marketing, and procurement contracts
- Provide advice and draft legal documents related to corporate governance, resolutions, labor, and real estate matters
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and business partners to achieve the best possible results.SPECIFIC EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 5 years of practical legal experience covering Mexico and Latin America, including sales, procurement, software/technology, licensing, corporate law, labor, and real estate matters.
- Bachelor's degree or above in law from a reputable university.
- Qualification as an attorney in Mexico.
- Spanish and strong professional English language capabilities (English-language resume/CV required for application).
- Significant experience drafting and negotiating in English and Spanish.
- Software, technology, and IP licensing experience preferred.
- Familiarity with manufacturing and/or automotive industries preferred.
- Business acumen and proven experience of providing practical solutions and results-oriented advice.
- Good interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills with various levels of stakeholders.General Responsibilities
- Act as advisor on a variety of legal matters, including coordinating with external counsel.
- Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for the company.
- Guide the company and ensure compliance with rules and regulations.
- Research laws, anticipate and guard the company against legal risks.
- Prepare and revise legal documents, policies, and contracts, accurately and in a timely manner.
- Develop internal and external messages related to disputes and legal issues.
- Perform due diligence in legal matters.
