This position will require a highly credible business-oriented professional capable of mastering all the essential technical elements of a high performance roller couplings portfolio and communicating these elements as a value proposition to targeted markets, distributors and OEM customers.The Couplings specialist will also be required to understand the specification process for each opportunity, clearly define the needs assessments, and direct the organization to successfully penetrate the accounts.Develop and manage, in coordination with Executive Management, strategic accounts that will lead to incremental market share growth and exceed annual sales objectives.Conduct themselves with the highest level of integrity and professionalism in sales and technical support that makes our products the lead specification for our customers and to drive target market opportunities.Be able to effectively manage through each distributor and OEM organization's specification process, find key decision makers, and leverage local success within multiple locations.Develop a thorough understanding of each customer's requirements, clearly communicate the expectations, and to exceed those expectations.Identify, develop, and implement strategies to achieve significant sales growth by evaluating new customer opportunities, applications, adjacent space programs, and customer specifications.Communicate market conditions, competitive environment, and pertinent industry trends to sales management to assist in the development of executable plans and forecasts.Document a repeatable selling strategy by leveraging application successes and Documented Value Add tools across multiple OEM's within similar industry segments and applications.Develop and adhere to an annual call plan aligned with the Timken Latin America regional strategy.Key market and country management including: Understand and develop technical product specification for key markets and segments.Frequent and active participation in the CRM process via record management, call documentation, and opportunity communication.Deliver value-added solutions to customers leveraging Timken's core competitive advantages.Interpret customer requests, work with pricing department to prepare detailed customer quotations, and effectively communicate the true opportunity of each inquiry.Support regional and national trade shows and other necessary marketing / industry events based on country needs
