Then this may be the opportunity for you.About You:We are looking for an individual, with great leadership and commercial skills, to help us transform the way we get to our customers and consumers with our brands, through multichannel distributors in México.The role has the responsibility to understand channel's growth drivers within sub-channels, implement the strategy to win and partner with internal and external teams with the ambition to growth 7X the business in the next 3 years.Function:The main purpose of this role is to lead the development of new channels for Diageo, understanding growth drivers and transforming them into strategies that develop our brands, through multichannel distributors.For this, this person will be the source for knowledge and commercial & activation planning for Field Sales, Account Management and Distributors Teams, providing them with the tools and support materials to drive brilliant execution within the channel/customers.
The role will also track and evaluate channel in-store execution against well-defined scorecard metrics, ensuring we deliver on time the best brand experiences.Initially some of the functions this role will perform are:- Lead our understanding on the channel, taking advantage of external and internal data to nurture the strategy.- Build up the strategy planning and the activation on the channel.- Build strong relationships with mid to senior customers within distributors, leading commercial activation conversations and prioritization.- Preparing monthly performance reports for internal and external customers.- Drive a culture of performance and continuous improvement, developing new capabilities to measure execution and market impact.Experience required/Skills/Capabilities/Languages:- Ideally 5 years on trade marketing, capabilities or commercial roles, with deep understanding sales channels.- Highly motivated person with a great capacity of influence at all levels: from people at the execution floor, to distributors Top Management.- Engage successfully with customers to drive timely and appropriately the commercial planning initiatives.
This role will provide strong leadership skills in coordinating different areas (Field Sales, Account Management and Distributors Teams).- Quick learning and adaptation skills
