**About Oru Kayak**:We are an award-winning company on a mission to make the outdoors more accessible.Our flagship product line is a series of origami folding kayaks that transform from a portable box, into a sleek, lightweight, and high-performance watercraft.Creative EditorThis role will report to the Brand Manager and will be an essential member of the brand/marketing team at Oru. The Creative Editor is responsible for editing and organizing all our raw creatives and turning them into usable formats for our various marketing channels.What You'll Be DoingEditing pro footage for various marketing channels including TVEditing Raw and influencer/creator/ambassador videos and photosReformatting creatives for specific platform useCreating iterations of creative ads including static imagery, videos and mashups for paid and organic advertising channels.Adding graphics, music and/or textTracking creative iterations and updating the creative testing roadmapCreating iterations and innovative content that speaks to each specific platform, angle or concept we want to test.Assisting in the creative strategy and briefing process to ensure we get any missing USPs, sound bites or angles to test/ use in post-production compilations.Work closely with the brand marketing team to continue to adjust editing style based on performance.**Requirements**:Digital post-production experience; editing in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Photoshop. (Procreate, Illustrator, After Effects, Canva, Figma, Capcut or equivalent all are significant value adds).Advanced experience with Social Media Formats/editing, familiar with Direct Response Creatives for performance marketing.Strong Aesthetic Eye and open/accepting of feedbackStrong understanding of Social Media Trends (specifically Tiktok!)Creative Strategy - understanding copy, creatives, and format that convert!Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal (English)Strong, time management, and organizational skillsStrong understanding of digital workflows and file-based delivery.Strong understanding of frame rates, aspect ratios, and resolutions.Ability to read video scopes and audio levels.Demonstrated strong editorial judgment.Proven experience editing content for a variety of digital platforms, in non-traditional. formats and resolutions.A team player who can work flexible hours including evenings, early mornings, and weekends.**Bonus**: If youhave direct hands-on content creation for social media experience that's a major bonus!
