Overview: The primary objective of project management is to create and maintain an efficient deliverable model where the client feels communicated to and that they have transparency into what the team is working on when to expect deliverables, and who their POC is to discuss creative, design, and/or video work, and how to properly give feedback and when. Project management provides a structured approach to planning, executing, and controlling projects to ensure they are completed efficiently and effectively.
Role and Responsibilities: Scope Management: The Creative Project Manager is to keep the project within budget by effectively allocating and monitoring resources and expenses, while helping to control the project's scope to prevent "scope creep" and maintain focus on the original objectives.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date deliverable trackers and Asana boards in order to report on timeline progress and make informed decisions about any timeline adjustments that need to occur.
Identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues that could impact the project's success.
Ensuring that the project's deliverables meet predefined quality standards and that quality control processes are in place.
Ensuring that the project delivers the intended result on time, meets its objectives, and satisfies stakeholders' needs and expectations.
Resource Management: Efficiently allocating and utilizing resources (e.g., personnel, materials, equipment) to maximize productivity and minimize waste.
Ensure timesheets and Asana Forecasts are accurately filled out to understand resource availability and capacity choices
Ensure designer capabilities are fully known and documented so that you are assigning designers with the skill set to complete the specific task at hand
Internal and External Communication: Establishing effective communication channels within the project team and with internal stakeholders to facilitate information flow and collaboration. Project Managers will also engage and communicate with all relevant stakeholders (internal and external), addressing their concerns, and ensuring their involvement in decision-making.
