Reviews customer financial and payment information to determine creditworthiness and determines appropriate credit limits. Communicates results of credit research to appropriate departments, brokers, and the customer. Reviews and releases customer orders for accounts.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Process credit applicationsComplete credit investigative work utilizing credit reports, references, and internet searches to establish customer credit limits within established guidelinesAnalyze information to determine if account is eligible for credit line increase and set credit limits accordinglyReview and adjust customer lines of creditMaintain general credit mailboxMaintain current information in support of established credit limits making recommendations to management/business unit with remedies to mitigate credit riskMaintain a positive relationship with the sales, agents, and customers by utilizing good communication and collaborationEscalate key issues to Credit Manager or Director of CreditREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIESAssociates degree or equivalent work experience; 1 plus year's related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.QUALIFICATIONS:Customer Service/Relationship ManagementExcellent written/verbal communicationProficiency in the Microsoft Office platformIntermediate Excel skills a mustData entry/typing skills with high level of accuracy (including 10 key)1 year of business-to-business credit investigation experience preferredOrganized and Detail OrientedFamiliar with credit reporting agencies#J-18808-Ljbffr
