.Danfoss Mexico is looking for a new talent. We have an opportunity for a Credit Analyst to join our diverse team. The Credit Analyst is responsible for performing collection and negotiation with customers/sales managers in Mexico to reduce overdue and bad debt, reduce days of trade receivables, and decrease the number of credit memos in the company.Job ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:Authorization of credit memos created to resolve disputes in the account/analysis of the root cause of credit notes for reduction.Analyze statements of account of customers for future negotiation for electronic or traditional collection for Mexico and North America (US & Canada).Ensure timely collection and registration of payment from customers.Escalate non-standard issues, critical collection problems, or high-risk issues to the Team Leader in a timely manner.Mitigate bad debt through early identification of potential 'at risk' receivables.Perform complex collections to ensure prompt customer payment performance.Ensure compliance with SOX controls according to Danfoss Compliance.Analyze processes and procedures and make recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness.Maintain timely collection and strong communication with all customers, including customer visits to represent Danfoss in matters of credit and collection.Weekly follow-up of disputes with the CS team to reduce impact on collection.Conduct collection meetings with sales managers to align collection strategy with customers.Train interns to perform follow-up on accounts and upload invoices.Supervise key accounts and negotiate with managers.Analyze the root cause of credit notes for reduction.Analyze customer behavior to project overdue and bad debt results.Minimum QualificationsThe ideal candidate possesses the following skills:Bachelor's Degree (Finance, Administration, Accounting, or related)3-5 years of experience in credit and collection functionsFamiliarity with SAP systemExperience with BI systemsCredit analysis skillsCustomer focusNegotiation skillsFinancial basics (budget management)Innovation and creativityMarket and competitor awarenessReport writing and documentationRequest for Information (RFI) skillsTactical implementation plansProject leadership and management toolsFacilitating teamworkMotivating othersCoaching and developing othersAnalysis and problem-solvingEmployee BenefitsWe are excited to offer you the following benefits with your employment:Bonus systemPaid vacationOpportunity to join Employee Resource GroupsThis list does not promise or guarantee any particular benefit or specific action.
