Latin American country operations include Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru.About the role:The **Credit Purchasing Manager** is responsible of managing the purchasing process with a team of 14 members and supports their development to achieve individual and team objectives. This role will be responsible for leading the planning, improvement, and execution of the process under expected standards of productivity, response time, quality, and service.The manager must interact with different areas within the company such as Sales, Risk, LAO Service Center, Finance, Collections, Customer Service, Compliance and Legal for ensuring credit policies and procedures.**Location: Monterrey, NL**What you need:- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering or similar- Desirable: Master's degree in Business or Finance- At least +5 years of experience in financial and/or bank institutions (must)- Experience in leading big teams, directly or indirectly- Experience in logistic of processes and documental control, as well as productivity and quality assurance.- Experience in managing external vendors with high scale- High analytical capacity and problem solving ability- Spanish & English Proficiency (must)- High level of responsibility- Strong interpersonal skills required in order to effectively communicate with the team, team work and collaboration- Strong managerial skills- Proactivity and initiative- Ensure understanding of credit policies and procedures established- Ability to present technical information clearly and accurately- Effective oral and written communication skills- Excellent organizational skills- Proficient in Microsoft Office toolsWhat you will be doing:- Define the short- and long-term vision and objectives of the area to achieve the standards of productivity, quality, control, and service required.- Lead the changes required to ensure a culture of excellence, integrity, and teamwork for the area.- Develop a talent management plan for the team.- Tracking of process flow and detection of process improvements.- Ensure a strong logistic of the process, documental control, productivity, and quality.- Ensure understanding of credit policies and procedures established by GMF.- Responsible to provide support to the progress, completion, and update of BPMS phases, assist in the improvement of the deployment of the methodology.- Manage the resources required to implement IT projects, transfer of activities to LAO Service Center (if applicable)
