We specialize in cutting-edge pumping solutions and are at the forefront of our industry. We are currently seeking an experienced Cross-Border Production Manager with ERP expertise to join our team. This role is crucial in managing production operations across two sites and ensuring efficient coordination between them.
**Job Description**:
We are looking for a Cross-Border Production Manager who will take charge of production activities in both our Tijuana and San Diego locations. This role plays a pivotal part in optimizing our manufacturing processes, ensuring quality, and maintaining seamless coordination between the two sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Oversight: Manage day-to-day production operations at both the Tijuana and San Diego sites, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.
Supply Chain Coordination: Oversee the cross-border supply chain, including material procurement, inventory management, and logistics, to ensure timely availability of materials.
ERP Utilization: Utilize ERP software to manage and streamline production processes, production planning, and order fulfillment at both sites.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor production teams at both locations, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Quality Assurance: Ensure strict adherence to quality control standards and procedures at both sites, maintaining high product quality.
Cost Management: Manage production budgets effectively, working towards cost reduction and cost control measures.
Cross-Border Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and trade requirements for cross-border production activities.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancement and implement lean manufacturing principles to improve operational efficiency.
Coordination: Facilitate effective communication and coordination between the Tijuana and San Diego sites, aligning goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
Proven experience in production management, ideally in a cross-border manufacturing setting.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with quality control standards and lean manufacturing principles.
