The Project & Operational Procurement Team Lead is responsible for leading the project and operational procurement team and ensure the day-to-day activities are conducted in efficient and effective manner. The Project Logistics Team Lead reports to the CSC Mexico EP Supervisor.

The objective of the Project & Operational Procurement team is to perform project management and procurement activities to guarantee an economical and on-schedule delivery of materials as defined by the Project Managers. Additionally, Project Logistics team is tasked to own the process of material requisitioning in projects assigned, using all relevant logistics data and options to minimize transport and handling costs in balance with optimal installation efforts. Critical to achieving success in this role is a deep understanding of relevant policies, processes, systems, communication tools, the ability to work with internal and external customers and suppliers.

**Responsibilities**
- Work closely with Project Management and Procurement Management team in USA to resolve team operational challenges.
- Utilize experience and abilities to mentor new project support specialists and Procurement representatives.
- Leverage your skill set to efficiently lead the operational aspects of the team.
- Proficient in problem solving with keen eye for detail, multi-tasking under pressure, and efficiently manage time to meet the demands of deadlines.
- Co-support identifying team member training needs and execute such training to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor team backlog ensuring continuous workflow and equal distribution of cases.
- Proactively communicate issues/ concerns with supervisor to collaboratively work towards improvement solutions.
- Co-support overseeing team activities with manager in supervisor's absence.
- Provide first level support to team on basic and complex technical system issues for SAP, SieSales, IMALL, IMALL RGA, basic COMPAS to determine if further technical escalation is required by IT Help Desk or Business Excellence Team
- Training, Mentoring new project specialists.
- Improve processes within Siemens EP
- Successful working relationship with multiple project managers and procurement teams in Siemens EP North America

**Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience**:

- College Degree
- 3 years or more of experience in progressive logistics, procurement, material management and logistics, materials management, 2+ years preferred.
- Operational team lead experience preferred.
- Flexibility to adjust and thrive in an environment with changing requirements, schedules, and priorities for multiple projects or assignments.
- Experience with coordinating activities with third-party service providers, including the definition of
- services level and tracking performance and compliance.
- SAP experience - Purchasing, Material Management (MM) and PM modules.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Customer service approach - responsive and thorough, Flexible Detail oriented, accurate, and organized, Self-starter
- Collaborative - ability to work internal within team members and with other functions to solve problems effectively.
- Skills and experience documenting processes and procedures as well as training others.
- Conflict Management Skills
