Engage, maintain and nurture relationships with government, associated authorities and all committees, legislatively representatives to protect organization interests.Represent the organization's interests at the highest levels of the country of assignment's government at all levels including national, provincial, regional, and local government.Establish rapport with government officials, industry associations and trade organizations to ensure representation of Cummins' interests.Work with industry and trade groups to develop and advocate for common industry positions.Compile and ensure compliance with all laws, regulations, and ethical concerns within area of jurisdiction and broadly across the organization.Speak at external and internal meetings regarding public policy issues and activities; serve as an external spokesperson with public policy stakeholders for the company, particularly for the country or business of assignment.RESPONSIBILITIES To be successful in this role you will need the following competencies:
