.The Drafter is responsible for crafting, reviewing, and validating assembly drawings for commercial and nuclear valve assemblies using Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD) systems. This role involves ensuring compliance with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and meeting specific requirements for collaborators. Additionally, the Drafter supports product development and release by preparing simple layouts, performing basic calculations, and crafting models vital to build fully modeled product assemblies. In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Drawing Creation and Documentation: Create Assembly Drawings: Develop assembly drawings, including dimensioning and detailed notes, ensuring alignment with customer assembly layouts and standards. Generate Simplified Models: Build simplified 3D models without internal details in a universal format suitable for customer use. Drafting for 2D and 3D Systems: Perform drafting tasks vital for all 2D or 3D CAD systems. Complete 3D Models: Build comprehensive 3D models based on FDS-programmed CS systems, ensuring error-free submissions. Prepare Outline, Quote, and ADCI Drawings: Complete required outline, quote, and ADCI Fisher First assembly drawings accurately. Nuclear Drawing Compliance: Build and validate nuclear drawings, ensuring they meet all nuclear drafting and quality standards. Document Drawing Revisions: Maintain detailed documentation of changes for every drawing revision, ensuring traceability. Coordinate and Handle Information: Systematically prioritize requirements, revisions, change requests, and any identified errors to provide quick and accurate responses to customer inquiries. Support Project Scheduling: Contribute to developing sections of project schedules, coordinating drafting tasks with project timelines. Ensure Safety Compliance: Assure all safety-related requirements identified by stakeholders are accurately incorporated into drawings. Teamwork and Communication: Effective Communication: Maintain clear and continuous communication with multidisciplinary teams and customers in both Mexico and the USA. Update Nuclear Drawings: Regularly update nuclear drawings for Impact partners and Project Managers, ensuring up-to-date information is shared. Resolve Drawing Issues: Collaborate with or expedite internal collaborators to address and resolve any drawing-related issues efficiently. Mentor and Support New Team Members: Provide guidance and mentorship to new hires and co-ops, supporting their growth and integration into the team. Who You Are: You balance planning with actions.
