**Minimum qualifications**:
- 6 years of experience in sales engineering or customer-facing roles
- Experience with database technologies and database administration techniques/tools covering in one of the following: high availability and disaster recovery, data migrations, or performance optimization
- Experience in delivering technical presentations while leading discovery and planning sessions that are aligned jointly with customers
**Preferred qualifications**:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or other technical field
- Experience with Relational Databases, NoSQL Databases, or Big Data technologies and containers
- Experience optimizing database performance with respect to transactional workloads
- Experience addressing customers' complex, existing software workloads, with the ability to define a technical migration roadmap to the cloud.
- Experience with data migration strategies and moving large-scale production systems either in on-premise/data center environments or migration to cloud scenarios, and SQL skills with query troubleshooting knowledge
- Knowledge of disaster recovery and data backup strategies

**Responsibilities**:
- Work with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, understand key customer business and technical issues, and develop the strategy and solution to support their stakes.
- Manage the technical relationship with Google's customers, including managing product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination of additional technical resources.
