**Description & Requirements**:
**What You Will Do**
- Responsible for field containment and rework activities at customer locations, such as product diagnostic tests, assembly line investigations and assembly plant yard-hold management.
- Analyze, compile, review and regularly report customer quality metrics such as PPM for 0km performance. Prepare presentations from quality data for reviews by both Harman and customer management groups.
- Obtain customer approvals for manufacturing process change(s) by providing supporting data for the change(s) and submitting to customer in their required format.
- Ensure information flow related to customer returns to appropriately address design (hardware and software), manufacturing, packaging and logistics causes. Facilitate awareness of issues and deploy countermeasures as lessons learned (Yokoten).
- Liaison between Customer and Harman. Coordinates activities of internal and external resources.
- Serves as resource for problem solving by initiating actions to address issues and prevent potential quality problems.
- Assist internal and external contacts to resolve product and process problems. Investigate and solve manufacturing-related problems.
- Continuous communication with design and engineering team during early and launch stages and also leader for Root Cause analysis and PCAs for Launch issues and SOP+90
- Interface with Engineering and Operations to ensure transfer to Production of new products are in accordance with approved data.
- Assure customer specific requirements are implemented.
- Perform Ppk - Cpk studies.
- PPAP or any other customer approval documentation for new products
- Continuous updating customers portals according to requirements
- Safe lunch Plan coordination activities
- PSO coordination activities
- Champion continuous improvement efforts. Researches, recommends, implements and administers new and/or existing quality assurance processes.
- Complete other projects and activities as assigned
- Participates and provides support related with quality systems management, objectives, targets and programs

- ** Minimum education: Bachelor's degree, **with a preference for Electrical or **Mechanical Engineering
- ** Minimum 3-5 years experience with automotive electronics. **Experience as Customer Quality working with customer GM. **Customer specific requirements for GM.
- Knowledge of the principles and procedures related to Manufacturing Quality Engineering, electronic & mechanical manufacturing, **statistical process control (SPC), problem solving and automotive production part approval process (PPAP)**.
- Must have 2+ years experience using AIAG guidelines **(APQP, PPAP, PFMEA)**.
- ** Practical problem solving using: 8D, A3, Fault Tree Analysis, Pareto, 3L-5Y, Is-Is Not, Fish Bone, etc.**:
- ** English 90%**
