.**LOCATION**:Acuna / Coahuila (MX-COA), Mexico | **BRAND**: Bendix | **REQUISITION ID**:4509 | ** JOB GRADE**: 16| ** ON-SITE/REMOTE**: On-site**JOB DESCRIPTION**:**Position Summary**: Quality Engineer responsible for contacting customers (OE and sister Plants) on quality complaints, coordinating containments at customer locations and monitoring 8Ds to ensure that are presented to customers on timely manner.**Essential Functions**:- Promotes and maintains strong customer relationships- Lead Interface with customers & BCVS plants to define customer quality requirements and monitor performance.- Become Expert at all Bendix products through training.- Maintain Test Utilize pneumatic and electronic test equipment on site at customer location to validate Bendix products.- Coordinate Containment Activities at customers locations for Quality Spills as required.- Lead 3rd Party Containment Activities at customer Plant for Quality Spills as required- Lead customer Installation Audits of Bendix products at assigned OEM Manufacturing plants.- Assist with problem solving and corrective action updates with Bendix Manufacturing Plants and CoC Product Engineering.- Provide leadership with customer scorecards maintenance.- Presents at weekly Quality Review status of customer claims and scorecards- Travel requirements vary based on projects and issue resolution from 10% to over 25%.- Support PSA Activities and procedures with team members.- The employee has the authority to stop the production line, when he/she notices that the product has a quality problem or defect- Perform all those activities that by the nature of the position are required**Management & Supervisory Responsibilities**:- Supervise customer red cage controller.**Knowledge**:- Able to operate test equipment to test products on site.- Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills- Fully familiar with FMEA, Control Plan, PPAP, SPC, MSA - AIAG Modules- Working Knowledge of IATF-16949 & ISO9001- Strong working knowledge/skills reading drawings
