Requisition ID: 32507- Job Location(s): Apodaca, MXDanfoss Climate Solutions, a global market leader in Refrigeration, A/C and Heating controls has an opening for a Customer Quality Manager (CQM).
Customer Quality Manager has a regional responsibility for ensuring quality within selected Key Account customers in Mexico and USA, handling customer complaints, communicating changes and participating in crisis teams when major quality problems arise.
CQM keeps customer's life simple by managing all issues of Climate solutions products sold to their customers in scope and protects customers with proper containment actions at Customer and Danfoss sites by using 8D problem solving techniques for effective correction and prevention of future problems.
CQM is responsible for reviewing and communicating Customer Specific Requirements, managing change notifications and approval processes for changes initiated by Danfoss and by customers.
**Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Ensure problem solving teams use 8D methodology across Danfoss factories and sales to ensure on-time and proper quality actions for customer complaints.
- Active participation in crisis teams during major quality problems.
- Visit/protect the customer as soon as possible to set up proper containment actions when quality problems arise.
- Strong follow-up on validation and long-term resolution of quality problems.
Ensure that the solution is verified and effectively working.
- Track PPM for selected customers, align PPM action plans with customers, and monitor execution of plans leading to sustainable reduction in PPM.
- Establish an open dialogue/communication with the customers on quality actions and progress.
- Coordinate quality review meetings between Danfoss and the customer to proactively work with current and potential quality issues.
- Bring voice of key Customers to Danfoss factories.
- Review and communicate Customer Specific Requirements.
- Coordinate customer change notifications and part approval processes for changes, new business and/or new products/variants.
**Background & Skills**:
- B.S.
Degree in Engineering and/or technical experience required
- 3 to 6 years working as Quality manager/engineer using IATF16949 or equivalent.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills required.
- Problem Solving Tools, 8D, Six Sigma, IATF Quality core Tools.
- Advanced Quality Management Systems (IATF16949 or equivalent) is a plus.
- Production/Process Continuous Improvement tools (kaizen, lean manufacturing)
- Working across different factories, sales offices, customer sites, and cultures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Independent, analytical, customer-focused, and results-driven
