Customer Service Desk Planner

About the Role:Oversees and/or performs Demand planning for a specific operations area through direct communication with Customers, Commercial and Production Planning departments, critical to plant short to long term operations performance by creating a monthly Sales Inventory Operations Plan.Responsibilities:Oversees Sales Order ManagementOversees customer service team electronic digital information (EDI) workflow processPrepares and presents Global Demand Plan for short termHandles expedite requests from the CustomerProvides recovery dates for any schedules that will not ship on timeCoordinates transportation/logistics with shipping department and CustomerOversees and provides weekly and monthly components forecast of sales/Demand PlanDirect interface with customer for expediting and order placement issuesQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related areas4+ years of relevant experience in production, planning or master production scheduling functionsAutomotive experience is desirableEnglish proficiency at 80%Strong analytical, decision-making, people development, team-oriented and problem-solving skillsPossess excellent organizational ability and work effectively with internal and external partiesSAP preferredGarrett is an equal opportunity employer.
