Ensure quality management of the project, proactively mitigate risks (design, process, quality costs, timing), and ensure customer quality deliverables and objectives.
Monitor and ensure compliance with the Clean Process standards: Product Group, Product Line, or Regional Operation entities, and from off tools for Site organization.
Act as the primary customer interface for quality-related matters during the development of assigned projects within the Product Group / Site.
- **Manage the quality in project**: Responsible for managing quality within the project.
- **Set and Monitor the Quality Roadmap**: Establish and monitor the Quality Roadmap to achieve project quality and cost targets.
- **Define the quality cost**: Define the project's quality cost and track customer milestones.
- **Detect risks and Prevent problems**: Identify risks and proactively prevent issues.
- **React to identified risks**: Respond to identified risks, escalate roadblocks to PG/PL management, ensure CPM adherence.
- **Respect build In Quality Standards**: Adhere to build-in quality standards: SPPC tracking, SPPC identification procedure, SPPC transfer to Supplier via VRFs.
- **Account for novelty in product and process**: Ensure new product and process innovations are considered in DFMEA, PFMEA, DV & PV.
- **Verify LLCs in D/PFMEA**: Validate LLC (Lowest Level of Concern) usage in D/PFMEA to reduce RPN (Risk Priority Number) and ensure compliance.
- **Ensure 4M matrix compliance**: After design freeze, ensure compliance with the 4M matrix regarding product or process changes, and obtain customer awareness and approval.
- **Update quality documents**: Update quality documents following product/process-related changes.
- **Participate in Design reviews**: Participate in design reviews, including supplier and toolmaker reviews.
- **Revise control plan**: Review control plans after issues or test results, support supplier management activities.
- **Support Supplier activities**: Support activities for internal and external supplier parts at Valeo sites, aiding Purchasing and SQA teams as per Quality Rasic.
- **Collect supplier issues and proposals**: Gather supplier issues and alternative proposals to integrate best practices, ensure timely IS validation by the Customer.
- **Define Prototype and control plans**: Define prototype, pre-serial, and serial control plans as the owner of these milestones.
- **Ensure consistency**: Ensure consistency among SPPC, FMEA, and the control plan.
- **Participate in FDPR**: Participate in pre-FDPR and FDPR activities.
- **Manage issues in QRQC**: Ensure all issues are consolidated in a single list and manage them through QRQC.
- **Enforce rules in QRQC**: Throughout the project QRQC, ensure rule compliance and enforce "Stop at first disagree" and "Stop at first no" protocols.
- **Initiate QRQCs**: Initiate QRQCs in cases of DV or PV test failures.
**Requirements**:
- **Quality Management**: maintaining and improving product/service quality, conducting audits, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring compliance with industry standards (ISO, IATF, etc.).
- **Warranty Administration**: Proficient in managing warranty claims, analyzing product failures, coordinating repairs/replacements, and enhancing customer satisfaction through effective warranty processes.
- **APU Management**: Skilled in overseeing aftermarket parts units, ensuring compatibility, reliability, and customer support, with a focus on optimizing inventory and minimizing downtime.
- **Risk Assessment & Prevention**: Proven ability to identify risks, implement preventive measures, and mitigate potential issues to enhance operational efficiency and product reliability.
- **Cross-functional Collaboration**: Effective communicator with experience collaborating across departments (Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing) to streamline processes, resolve challenges, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- **Documentation & Reporting**: Proficient in preparing detailed reports, documenting quality metrics, and presenting findings to stakeholders to support informed decision-making and compliance audits.
- **Regulatory Compliance**: Knowledgeable in regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, EPA) and experienced in ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards through rigorous inspection and compliance initiatives.
