**Position Purpose**:
**Essential Functions**:
- **Process incoming sales orders.
Assist customers in selecting and/or configurating appropriate model.
Provide accurate pricing, lead times and availability.
Return messages within departmental guidelines.
**:
- **Update prices every quarter and guarantee no credit or debit memos will be issue due a mistake**:
- **Maintain appropriate records for assigned customers.
Record quotations, special terms, invoices, credit/debit memos and any actions needing follow up.
**:
- **Keep files on customer contacts and buying patterns.
**:
- **Follow up and expedite standard and special orders.
Track order progress in production, picking and shipping areas and check on special requirements.
**:
- **Process RGN's, credit requests and special shipment requests.
**:
- **Communicate in a thorough and timely fashion with internal departments and Sales Reps.
Inform salesmen on quotations, lead times, pricing, customer issues and new projects.
Inform Planner Buyers of any special requirement**:
- **Run and review daily reports and process data to ensure timely completion of orders and effectively manages costs.
**:
- **Interpret and convert EDI transmission into actual sales orders.
**:
- **Maintain good relations with other departments on issues that relate to customer service.
Attend purchasing and warehouse meetings and help to establish priorities.
**:
**Education**:
- **College Degree in Engineering, Administrative Engineering, Administration or similar.
**:
**Qualifications**:
- **Minimum of 3 years industry experience in customer service.
**:
- **Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
**:
- **Ability to work in a team environment and under pressure.
**:
- **Organized, proactive, cordial, dynamic.
**:
- **Computer skills - MS Office, AS400.
**:
- **MRP, AS400.
**:
- **Microsoft Office.
**:
- **Advance English, minimum 80%.
