**Main Duties & Responsibilities**
**Position Summary**:
Rieke Packaging specializes in the manufacturing of plastic closures, providing hundreds/thousands of types
of closures that help our customers provide and meet "their" customers and markets' demands. Our product is
used in the food and beverage industry. Rieke Packaging takes pride in delivering a quality, and timely
product, as well as providing a caring and pleasant environment for our team. We are looking for a customer
focused, self-motivated individual with a passion for providing world class Customer Care. The individual
must be the voice of the customer inside the organization, championing and leading continuous improvement
for the service provided.
**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Respond and process Customer inquiries and requests promptly.
- Management of the order process from receipt through production to delivery.
- Establish, Update and Manage Customer Accounts and Databases.
- Manage requests for Compliance Documents and Accounting Documents.
- Manage credits, price exceptions and credit holds.
- Management of the quote, sample and complaint processes to ensure timely information to the
Customer.- Establish partnerships with Customers and Regional Sales Managers.
- Interactions with Customers on the phone to establish and strengthen partnerships.
- Communicate and coordinate with internal departments.
- Follow up on Customer Interactions
- Other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**
- High School Diploma required.
- A minimum of 2 years proven record of accomplishment of customer service, order management and
building customer relationships.- Customer care principles and practices.
- Order management.
- Planning skills with attention to detail.
- Personal communications skills.
- Ability to solve problems creatively and quickly.
- Able to handle stressful situations and deadline pressures with grace and calmness.
- Self-motivate and derives great satisfaction from a job well done.
- Able to perform in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
**Preferred Qualifications and Skills**:
- College degree a plus.
- Plastic Packaging industry experience a plus or other manufacturing related customer service job.
- Technical experience in rigid packaging, closures and bottles fit and finishes is a big plus.
