**ABOUT THE ROLE**:Uber Freight is looking for experienced customer service professionals with a background in Transportation, Supply Chain, or logistics. Our specialists will manage transportation functions to ensure accurate contact with carrier to obtain status of load-tendered; continue monitoring theshipment for on-time pick-up, transit, delivered and empty while providing excellent customer service to our customers.**WHAT THE CANDIDATE WILL DO**:- Additional Responsibilities Regarding Customer and Carrier Relationships.- Appointment Scheduling/Schedule appointments with shipper and/or receiver, update the TMS as needed and communicate with Logistics Specialist.- Communicate any service issues to customer and team.- Identify and update status on which carrier missed delivery; provide sufficient comments for communication to customer.- Monitor and trouble shoot any problems to ensure on time service.- Proactively notify Shipper and/or Receiver of Load Status and reschedule pick-up/delivery appointments when necessary.- Update load status in system, e.G., loaded, pick-up, delivery, empty, etc.- Update TMS with notes with any issues that may occur.- Utilize TMS to actively manage on-time performance and meet customer KPIs- Be able to follow the US holiday schedule and support a customer based on US EST time zoneBASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 1 Years of customer service experience- Basic Math (Includes aptitude to learn how to calculate mileage as it relates to the passage of time).- Fluent English, must be able to read, write and speak clearly in EnglishPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Knowledge of Freight Industry- Microsoft Excel— basic usage, formatting tables, trivial calculations- Bachelor's degree- Prior experience with US based customer or company
