About The RoleUber Freight company is looking for experienced customer service professionals with a background in the Transportation, Supply Chain, or Logistics field. Our specialists will manage transportation functions to ensure accurate, timely delivery of product in the most efficient and cost-effective manner, all while providing excellent customer service to our customers.What The Candidate Will DoManage day-to-day aspects of booking, shipping, tracking on both import and export shipmentsSecure capacity for loadsContact carrier to obtain status of load-tendered; continue monitoring theshipment for on-time pick-up, transit, delivered, emptyEnsure correct load status in TMS, e.G., loaded, pick-up, delivery, empty, etc.Notify Shipper and/or Receiver of Load Status and reschedule pick-up/delivery appointments when necessaryEstablish and maintain effective relationships with shippers and receivers through professional and timely communications and inquiry responsesCorrespond with customer and carrier regarding detention informationCommunicate and gain approval for expedite shipmentsIdentify patterns with shipper, receiver, and carrier performance and recommend actions for improvementBasic Qualifications1 to 2 years of logistics experienceExperience in a system related to TMS (tracking or monitoring of shipments)Completed bachelor's degreeAdvanced English - Email and customer service (Sporadic)Preferred QualificationsExperience in SAP or OracleExperience or knowledge of a dashboard systemScheduleIt's a rotating shift 3pm-12am Monday to Friday with rest on the weekend; next month rest during the week and work on the weekend.
