**A Snapshot of Your Day**
As a member of the Customs team, you will be responsible to perform Customs brokerage billing duties including reconciliation, calculation, and processing invoices; working with internal customers to resolve invoice discrepancies and ensuring payment is processed timely.
This position reports to the Head of Customs Operations located in Orlando, Florida.
**How You'll Make an Impact**
- Reviewing and processing vendor invoices.
- Handling the status of accounts, credits and balances and identifying and resolving inconsistencies.
- Conducting audits to ensure accuracy of charges.
- Ensuring the accurate and timely processing of billing invoices and payments for vendors.
- Collaborating with vendors, third party institutions and other team members to resolve billing inconsistencies and errors.
- Generating reports to management related to billing activities.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies related to billing and accounts payable/receivable.
- Recommend changes in current processes when essential.
**What You Bring**
- Entry level or less than 2 years of accounting experience.
- Associate or bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting or High school Diploma.
- Fluent language skills (written and verbal) in Spanish and English are a must.
- Comfortable dealing with numbers and the processing of financial information.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel).
- Experience with customs/ERP IT systems such as SAP, MIC, Integration Point, etc. a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Adherence to laws and best practices when dealing with vendors and data.
- Support organization's goals, values, and diversity.
- Business travels of 5-10 %.
