.As a member of the Customs Global Classification team, you will be responsible for collaborating in the determination of accurate customs classifications on behalf of Siemens Energy legal entities in the United States of America. Within this responsibility, you capture data/documentation and determine the correct customs classification (tariff) according to the U.S. Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS).This position reports to the Global Classification Team and works in close collaboration with the Customs Operations US Team located in Orlando, Florida, as part of a multinational team.How You'll Make an ImpactIdentifying the required information for customs classification and gathering this information from systems and/or colleagues of the relevant departments such as engineering, R&D, and other areas.Analyzing and collaborating/assisting in classifying goods according to U.S. Customs regulations and U.S. Harmonized Tariff Schedule, taking into consideration technical attributes required for the classification process.Monitoring and controlling Customs Classification processes.Actively participating in team growth efforts.Recommending changes in current processes when needed.What You BringAt least 2 years of experience in the field of customs classification.Bachelor's degree in engineering, trade, legal, or a related field.Excellent language skills (written and verbal) in Spanish and English are a must.Excellent knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel).Experience with customs/ERP IT systems such as SAP, MIC, Integration Point, etc. is a plus.Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.Negotiation, presentation, and assertiveness are attributes that describe you best.Support for the organization's goals, values, and diversity.Business travel of 5-10%.ENGLISH RESUME MUST BE SUBMITTED FOR CONSIDERATION.Who is Siemens Energy?At Siemens Energy, we are more than just an energy technology company.
