We are currently hiring on behalf of a global leading 3PL Shipping solution provider which is going through rapid growth in North America.**Responsibilities**:1. Customs Affairs Management: Coordinate and oversee all customs clearance operations within the freight forwarding company, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.2. Document Preparation and Verification: Review and prepare all documents related to customs clearance, including customs declarations, import/export permits, and invoices, ensuring the accuracy and compliance of all documentation.3. Communication with Customs and Clients: Maintain close communication with customs officials and clients, addressing potential clearance issues and providing high-level customer service.4. Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on and adhere to international trade regulations, ensuring the company's customs clearance processes align with the latest regulatory requirements.5. Problem Resolution: Handle issues related to customs clearance, such as tariff calculations, goods classification, and regulatory requirements, ensuring smooth clearance of goods.6. Reporting and Analysis: Generate relevant reports, monitor the performance of the clearance process, and provide suggestions for improvements and optimizations.**Requirements**:1. Education and Experience**:Bachelor's degree or higher**, with work experience in freight, logistics management, or related fields.2. A minimum of 3 years experience as a custom broker. Plus experience of the followings3. HSCode Analysis and classification4. Non tariff regulations5. Calculating taxes6. NOMs (label and security)7. Programs such as IMMEX, PROSEC8.
