JOB DESCRIPTIONSKILLS:Trade compliance experience in the automotive industry (preferred).Knowledge of Mexico Compliance Rules and Regulations: government programs: IMMEX, PROSEC, RULE 8, Annex 24 (Customs Inventory Control) and Annex 31 (VAT Credit Control Warranty & Balance Account System).Experience with: Microsoft Office, SAP, QAD, CODICE (preferred) or similar ERP and Customs systems (preferred).ESSENTIAL INFORMATION, TASKS AND % TIMERequired: Bachelor's degree in international trade or similar, 1 year of experience (preferred).Desirable: Proficient in English language (preferred).60% COMPLIANCE GOVERNMENT REGULATIONS:Support Adient Mexico plants with import & export operations in a consistent manner with our Global Customs & Trade Compliance policies and procedures.Perform Annex 24 (Customs Inventory Control) and Annex 31 (VAT Credit Control Warranty & Balance Account System) according to Adient processes.30% AUDIT & MONITORING:Audit customs brokers and freight forwarders activities associated with HTS parts classification.Apply origin certification and Government Authorized Programs (e.G., PROSEC and RULE 8).10% PROGRAM COOPERATION:Provide service provider all necessary information to obtain origin certification.
