Descripción y detalle de las actividadesThe Customs manager plans and coordinates the international shipment of goods. During the day, he/she will negotiate with a variety of people, such as shippers, agents, and vendors. It is expected to have excellent customer service skills in dealing with customers. He/She will also be responsible for personnel management, which includes hiring, training, supervising, coaching, and developing personnel. The Customs manager will need to track invoices and prepare reports to expedite the billing process in their accounting role. He/She must also ensure that shipments comply with the laws and regulations governing the manufacturing industry (Anexo 24, Anexo 31, C-TPAT, NEEC, OEA, Immex, Prosec, Regla 8va, Carta Porte, Custom forms 7501, 7512)Experiência y requisitos- Five years of experience in customs management and compliance. - Excellent communication skills in English & Spanish (verbal and written). - Bilingual English-Spanish. - Customer-oriented. - Driven by team building and collaboration. - Leadership through coaching. - Strategic agility. - 25% Travel (US Visa required.
