You'll need to collaborate with Business, Solution Delivery, Engineering, and Quality and Compliance functions across a global organisation spanning US, UK, Sweden, China, Japan, Poland, Mexico, India and beyond.The core accountabilities for the role include:- Performing security reviews of systems and solutions, looking at compliance, but also to identify how solutions can be improved for security in the way they are designed, used, built and maintained.- Working with solution architects, solution engineering and support functions to ensure that solutions are secure and align with AZ Security policies and guidelines.- Advising solution architects and engineers on security when making solution design decisions.- Analyzing whether security controls for a computer system are suitable; this is based on an understanding of both use and context, and how the system will likely be attacked.- Conducting security architectural reviews throughout project and solutions design lifecycle.- Keeping up with latest security trends and technologies considered for secure solution design.- Helping drive awareness of security principles, policies, standards and governance through the security solution review processes.**Essential for the role..**- ** Must have experience in Cyber Security for at least 1 year.**:- A broad understanding of security technologies including firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus software, and IDPs.- Familiarity with common attack techniques and their remediation/defence including DoS, DDoS, Social engineering, Virus, Malware, Vulnerability exploitation, Phishing & Spear Phishing, Worms, Trojans, Rootkits, Ransomware, XSS, SQL Injection, Remote Command Execution, Session Hijacking, etc.- Good understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorisation and network security implementations.- Ability to think critically and innovatively about keeping data safe within a solution while still allowing the business to operate and grow.- Ability to prioritise and validate the threats that really matter.- Able to collaborate across multiple teams spanning many geographic regions.- Excellent written and oral communication skillsDesirable- Knowledge of risk assessment tools, technologies and methods.- Understanding of Cloud, Hybrid and On-Premise Architecture.- Knowledge of Cloud Security.- Exposure to Cyber Security Frameworks and regulations
