**What You'll Do**
- ** Security Detections**:Accurately respond to and document security incidents, following detailed procedures to track and resolve issues.
- ** Incident Management**: Manage security breaches, participate in containment strategies, conduct forensic analysis, and drive the eradication of threats.
- ** Proactive Threat Hunting**:Utilize existing and emerging threat intelligence to conduct and review threat hunts, managing any identified risks.
- ** Tuning and Optimization**:Take ownership of tuning security tools and processes, ensuring efficient operation and effective threat coverage.
**What You May Need to be Successful**:
- Location: This position is remote but requires residency in Mexico, preferably in or near Mexico City.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related fields, or equivalent technical certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM).
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in cybersecurity, with proven skills in incident response and threat management.
- OnCall Requirement: Ability to participate in an oncall rotation approximately once a month, which may include additional oncalls during longer months.
- Skills: Strong technical understanding of cybersecurity practices, including proactive and reactive measures.
- Abilities: Excellent analytical and documentation skills, with the ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Certifications: Certifications like CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.
