POSITION SUMMARYLeads a team of cycle counters, ensuring the accuracy of inventory records, and identifying and resolving discrepancies in inventory levels.
RESPONSIBILITIES Lead and manage a team of cycle counters to ensure accurate and efficient cycle counting processes.
Develop and maintain cycle count schedules to ensure regular and timely counts are conducted.
Analyze inventory data to identify trends and potential issues related to inventory accuracy.
Identify and investigate discrepancies in inventory levels and work with other departments to resolve any issues.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to inventory control and cycle counting.
Implement and maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including receiving, storing, and issuing materials.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure that inventory levels are aligned with production schedules.
Develop and implement procedures to improve inventory management and optimize cycle counting processes.
Train new employees on cycle counting procedures and best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in inventory management or cycle counting operations.
Strong knowledge of inventory management systems, including ERP and WMS.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong leadership and management skills.
PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS You may need to stand for extended periods while overseeing cycle counting activities and interacting with warehouse staff.
Moving around the warehouse floor to supervise cycle counting processes, check inventory locations, and address any issues.
Performing tasks that require bending down or stooping to access lower shelves or inspect inventory.
Occasionally lifting and carrying inventory items or equipment, especially during inventory audits or when resolving discrepancies.
