***Leads a team of cycle counters, ensuring the accuracy of inventory records, and identifying and resolving discrepancies in inventory levels.**RESPONSIBILITIES**- Lead and manage a team of cycle counters to ensure accurate and efficient cycle counting processes.- Develop and maintain cycle count schedules to ensure regular and timely counts are conducted.- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and potential issues related to inventory accuracy.- Identify and investigate discrepancies in inventory levels and work with other departments to resolve any issues.- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to inventory control and cycle counting.- Implement and maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including receiving, storing, and issuing materials.- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that inventory levels are aligned with production schedules.- Develop and implement procedures to improve inventory management and optimize cycle counting processes. Train new employees on cycle counting procedures and best practices.**QUALIFICATIONS**- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.- At least 5 years of experience in inventory management or cycle counting operations.- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems, including ERP and WMS.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong leadership and management skills.**PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS**- You may need to stand for extended periods while overseeing cycle counting activities and interacting with warehouse staff.- Moving around the warehouse floor to supervise cycle counting processes, check inventory locations, and address any issues.- Performing tasks that require bending down or stooping to access lower shelves or inspect inventory.
