Data Analyst - Financial Systems About the Role Location Mexico Queretaro Santiago de Queretaro Company Siemens Energy, S. de de Organization Transformation of Industry Business Unit Compression Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Experienced Professional A Snapshot of Your DayA typical day of the Financial Systems Data Analyst includes supporting the US, Canada, and Warwick organizations in managing Finance and Controlling processes.
The role requires maintenance of Financial and Controlling master within in the SAP PS1 instance including working with the respective business contacts and workflows.
In addition, the Analyst will be responsible for performing supervising activities of Project and controlling objects to assist business divisions in ensuring data accuracy in financial and project reporting.
The Financial Systems Data Analyst will work closely with business contacts to ensure the proper information is maintained in the needed systems and troubleshoot any discrepancies.How You'll Make an Impact Responsible for Financial and Controlling Master Data eg.
Profit centers, cost centers, cost rates for US and Canada legal entities.Perform weekly monitoring activities in SAP for month end closing batch jobs and work with business contacts to resolve errors.Generate financial analysis for Controlling data in US and Canada legal entities using SAP and Snowflake reports for review of data accuracy.Perform mass updates in SAP system to support Controlling, FRG and other reporting requirements eg.
EU Taxonomy, settlement rules.Provide daily support of the business SAP key users thru the Teams chat and group mailbox with regards to project closure, profit center errors on projects and Activity type cost rates.Support ad hoc requests for financial and controlling objects from Advanced Key User team as well as audit requests.What You BringBachelor's degree in MIS, Accounting or Finance from accredited institutionMinimum of 7 years of experienceProficiency in MS Office, strong Excel skills and competency in ERP systems ( SAP, Oracle).Excellent communication skillsStrong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.Knowledge of accounting and financial competencies preferred.Ability to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to travel to United States with updated travel VisaHigh level of fluency in EnglishMust submit English resume for consideration of the roleWho is Siemens Energy?At Siemens Energy, we are more than just an energy technology company.
