The Ford Model e Connected Quality Team is looking for a Data Analytics Engineer to work on a team to manage connected vehicle data projects in support vehicle launch and ongoing quality issues. The engineer will lead and manage adverse quality trend detections, develop Connected Vehicle data solutions for internal customers, and work with the engineering teams on use of data for problem solving. We are looking for people who have a passion for growing their skills, tackling exciting "leading edge" work, and like problem solving potential concerns.

**Basic Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, ability to engage with upper management, peers, and subordinates
- High level of initiative
- Proven effective organizational, planning, and time leadership skills
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, sophisticated and global environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple teams and projects
- Ability to consistently perform at a high level of technical competence, showing composure and decisiveness under pressure Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

**Preferred Qualifications**:
1 + years of experience in Data Analytics

Ability to understand how to ingest large data sets from a variety of sources (SQL, Python, Java, Hadoop, Alteryx, Qlik Sense, etc)

Ability to write SQL queries needed to query & analyze data

Expertise to manipulate data to form unified data sets for analysis

Strong visualizations skills (understanding of appropriate visualization techniques based on the data set)

Knowledge of data management

**Responsibilities**:

- Work with PD teams to extract, summarize, and analyze Connected Vehicle data to further understand and problem solve potential issues
- Manage "Clockspeed" projects to resolve issues within 30 days from issue detection
- Enhance the use of Connected Vehicle data (e.g., battery SOC data, door ajar, warning lights, etc.) through the ideation and development of tools/methods for problem solving
- Develop tools and methods to advance process of obtaining insight from large files of Connected Vehicle data
- Build strong and trusting relationships with business partners across Ford North American organizations
