Evaluates complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information.Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required.Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits. Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc., by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization.FunctionsThe Data Analytics Senior Analyst will support and help in activities between teams in the Data & Analytics domain, facilitate and support the road map defined by Tech Owners and Business Owners needed to meet business objectives, manage risks and resolve issues, and ensure adherence to control and management metrics in alignment with Citi's policies and standards, while ensuring the value delivery of the area.Manage the execution of technology products such as Issue Management & Remediation and Data Concern Remediation Management, being accountable for maintaining the value delivery within an agile team.Ensure SDLC adherence and apply agile methodology.Own the engagement and completion of organizational and external processes, ensuring that the responsible teams fully adhere with data quality and data governance requirements.Support finance-related activities / manage project expense according to Citi's governance: Project Management, understanding of assigned capacity (hours/budget), Financial plan, Forecast and actuals monitoring.Keep project management tools up to date and aligned with methodology requirements to minimize information quality issues and defects.ResponsibilitiesCoordinates activities of the Data Concern Remediation Management team, identifies necessary resources and develops schedules to meet completion deadlines and SLAs.Verifies team adherence to control and risk implementations as well as standards and process changes.Determines scope and impact of projects risks and issues, identify and solve data quality issues.Applies good understanding of concepts and procedures within own IT project leadership area to resolve data quality issues.Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of how IT project leadership collectively integrates to contribute to achieving business goals.Provides evaluative judgement based on analysis of factual information in complicated and unique situations.Directly impacts the IT project leadership area through shared responsibility for delivery of end results and contribution to planning, budget management and formulation procedures; influences resource planning.Persuades and influences others through communication and diplomacy skills; may negotiate with external parties.Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Qualifications:Experience in an IT project leadership role with commensurate people management experience.Experience managing complex projects.Strong overall knowledge of software development methodologies (i.e., agile, waterfall using SDLC).Methodologies and tools (SDLC, Planview, PTS, Demand Management, Release Management, Information Security, Testing Quality Assurance).Experience working in technology environments.Financial Services (Banking) industry knowledge.Project Financial ManagementResource ManagementLeadershipStrategic VisionFocus on resultsDecision MakingFast LearnerNegotiation and conflict resolutionService attitudeProactive, independentDisciplinedExecutive Communication and ReportingExperience in transformation from Waterfall to Agile way of work.High level of written and spoken English, capable of maintaining business/technical conversations in English highly desirable.Education:Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experienceThis job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
