As a data automation engineer, you will play a pivotal role in automating data transfer processes. This entails identifying existing processes, and proposing solutions, developing, implementing, testing and maintaining automated solutions.As part of our Research and Development team, you will collaborate closely with other software engineers, analytics engineers and systems specialists, as well as cross-functional teams to deliver the automations in the business.**Duties and Responsibilities**:- Develop Pythonic data transfer solutions to meet business needs across the software lifecycle, including development, implementation, QA, deployment, and maintenance thereof.- Analyze existing business processes, map out workflows, and identify areas for optimization and automation using Python scripts and tools.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Finance, Operations, and Client Success, to understand their specific needs and tailor solutions accordingly.- Proactively seek feedback from end-users, identify opportunities for further optimization, and implement iterative improvements to enhance process efficiency.- Stay updated with the latest advancements in automation tools and technologies.**Requirements**:- Demonstrable proficiency in Python programming language for the purposes of developing data transfer processes.- Strong aptitude in basic programming and computer science principles.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including articulating technical concepts to a non-technical audience.- Ability to work independently with a proactive and self-starting attitude.- Excellent attention to detail and exceptional project management skills.**Highly Valued Attributes**:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.- Experience with commercial pipeline tools, cloud and/or database infrastructures.- Proven experience in managing a system of record, preferably in a financial context.- Demonstrated understanding of the technology stack used by the research and development team at InDebted.- Excellent attention to detail and stakeholder management skills
