**Data Deployment Lead Americas - Temporary (Finance Transformation)**:

The ABB Way Finance Transformation Program (FTP) is a business-led program that will help to underpin the new ABB Way operating model and decentralization agenda. It is a key first step in establishing global end-to-end processes and modernizing the finance part of our legacy ERP estate which will create sustainable benefits for ABB. As the data cluster lead for the Americas, you will drive planning, management, and coordination of data activities (UDM and MDG S/C/F) across the countries in the cluster. You will serve as your cluster data expert and ensure data-related activities are deployed according to the global design and cluster project plan. The location of the role is flexible within the cluster region, with Mexico as the preferred location. The grading guideline for the role is global grade 10.

**Your responsibilities**:
- Develops and monitors project plan of all data activities (Universal Data Model (UDM) and Master Data Governance (MDG) S/C/F) within the cluster deployment under scope (the Americas)
- Leverages deep understanding of the Deployment Plan and global data design to drive, manage and ensure key data milestones and related activities are achieved
- Partners with local teams for all data-related deployment activities - including UDM and MDG implementation
- Liaises with global PMO, global data team and local deployment team to ensure the data plan is synchronized with deployment plan
- Serves as single point of contact within the local team for all data deployment related activities
- Runs 'adapt to standard' workshops (UDM and MDG area) and identifies dependencies, patterns and/or variations from standard across all data-related activities.
- Discuss with local deployment team about localization requirements of the global template and gains approval for any variations from standard where required and issues risk escalation to global guardian of the design team
- Delivers required data related trainings to local organization to drive implementation and adoption and shares best practices with other deployment leads and clusters.
**Your background**:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in data analysis, master data governance or related field in a global environment.
- Sound understanding of Finance data objects and the master data governance.
- Proven planning and project management skills; Project Management certification (PMP) a plus.
- Excellent communication skills: present and report activities in a clear and effective way, sensitive to communication steps related to all levels of stakeholders.
- Proven senior stakeholder management experience as well as networking skills (finding the right people in the organization).
- Influencing skills: create appetite for simplification and willingness to change.
- Problem solving skills, systematic approach to a problem, understanding consequences in a systemic manner.
