Our Gaming Data Engineering team is growing. We are looking for a Data Engineer II to join us and help deliver our vision of creating a safer yet cutting-edge gaming experience for every person and organization on the planet.

**What You Will Do**
- Identify multiple, complex data sources and build advanced code to extract and process raw data from upstream sources using SQL or tools while assuring accuracy, validity, and reliability of the data across the pipelines.
- Ensure the successful rollout of signals and ongoing telemetry health.
- Identify opportunities to optimize data tools used to transform, manage, and access data sources across the organization.
- Ensure the effectiveness of performance monitoring protocols across multiple data pipelines.
- Perform root cause analysis in response to detected problems or anomalies to identify the reason for alerts and implement advanced solutions to prevent recurring points of failure.
- Anticipate the need for data governance and work with designated privacy teams to ensure that data modeling and data handling procedures are compliant with laws and policies.
- Prepare accurate, easy-to-follow documentation for every code script.
- Lead projects independently with mínimal supervision.
- Build trust and respect with stakeholders across the organization.
- Work closely with the team lead to deliver daily/weekly/monthly sprints.
- Contribute to a culture of innovation and quality.

**To Be Successful You Will Have**
- BA/BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related quantitative discipline.
- 2+ years of experience as an analyst or engineer in the BI/Analytics space utilizing a combination of languages and tools including but not limited toSQL, C#, Kusto, Cosmos, Microsoft Visual Studio, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Snowflake (or similar).
- Proficiency in navigating GIT in the work environment.
- Proficiency in web development is preferred.
- Experience with BI data visualization and delivery tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-driven, meticulous, and curious in nature.
- Ability to prioritize in a complex and fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail with desire to learn and master new technologies.
