Position functions as a member of the Data Management Team to create robust ETL and reporting solutions which meet the business needs of the organizationPartner with Business Analysts, Subject Matter Experts from internal Business Units, and counterparts in IT to complete system requirements, technical specifications and process documentation for assigned projectsReview, analyze, and evaluate the scope of the business problems presented and help identify viable technical solutionsDevelop extracts, transforms, and loads with SQL Server SSIS PackagesCreate detailed technical specifications and release documentation for assigned ETL and reporting projectsMulti-task across several ongoing projects and daily duties of varying priorities as requiredProvide input into each phase of the systems development cycle as requiredEnsure adherence to published development standards and database best practices, resulting in consistent implementation of project componentsEnsures data integrity, performance quality, and resolution of data load failuresAbility to make good judgments, decisions, negotiate and problem solveWork closely with customers and business ownersPerform with mínimal supervision Required Experienceand Education:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or MIS related area4 years of experience as ETL/BI developer with large scale data warehouse4 years experience with SQL Server 2005,/2012 including writing T-SQL, SSIS packages, and SSRSExperience working with MS AzureProven ability in dimensional data modeling, object creation, and optimizationAbility to use XML Schema and XSLTStrong discipline in full life cycle developmentProject team leadership experienceDetailed-oriented with a proven history as a self-starter who can work independently with mínimal supervisionStrong oral presentation and written communication skillsOutstanding organizational and effective time management skillsResults oriented with initiative and judgmentAbility to obtain, analyze and synthesize information from multiple sourcesExcellent problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking skills Necessary Skills and Attributes:
