Be part of the Platform Integration and Validation team within Data Platforms Group.
This position is for a Data Engineer with interest on hardware validation and testing.
The role requires strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize and analyze significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy and broad understanding of multiple datacenter systems ingredients including hardware, firmware and operating systems.
The job will demand interaction with multiple ingredient stakeholders.
The focus of the role is processing data from different sources in order to: find issues on the products the group is working on, running end-costumer workloads, and improve internal validation processes.
**Some of the activities you will be responsible for include**:
- Identify and integrate new test content (including customer workloads) to be run on the infrastructure available.
- Analyze information from different sources focused to perform hardware validation.
- Collaborate with experts on debugging issues, providing info collected on the telemetry system and databases.
- Design, create and automate reports for different audiences, based on the information collected.
- Propose creative ways of validating the products, including the implementation of Machine Learning.
**Qualifications**
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- 2+ years of working experience as a Data engineer.
- 1+ years Linux Based Operating Systems experience.
- 3+ years of scripting experience in Python, Bash or C programming.
- 2+ years NoSQL databases.
- Advanced English level.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Solid understanding of computer architecture.
- 1+ years with Elastic Stack (Filebeat, Logstash, Elasticsearch, etc).
- 1+ years of experience in System validation is desired.
- 1+ years of experience in Validation methodologies.
