**About the Role**:
We are looking for a Data Scientist Lead that leads the role in solving our most challenging problems and guiding the decisions that we take around Product, Marketing, and Operations.
Information is only valuable when transformed into actionable insights, and it is through experimentation, high-tempo testing, rigorous measurement, and correct communication.
**Technical Responsibilities**:
- Lead our core group of data scientists within Creators and Listeners squads, building ML/statistical algorithms and analytical tools that enable and support the business decision-making process
- Integrate models and analytical results into our data and tech infrastructure, interacting with managers and senior management of our tech and product organizations
- Clearly communicate analytical results to our C-level executives and key stakeholders, simplifying technical concepts and demonstrating a deep understanding of our business and the potential impact of analytical deliverables in our users and partners
- Develop analytical frameworks on important strategic decisions, in order to ensure that we are delivering the best value proposition for our listeners and creators.
- Execute and deliver superior results under tight deadlines and challenging business OKRs, demonstrating an above average ability to deliver "Minimum Viable" analytical products.
**Lead Responsibilities**:
- Managing a small team of Data Scientist and supporting them with regular 1:1s, continuous feedback, and career advancement.
Providing leadership and direction to reports to help them become the best Data Engineering team in Latam.
- Encouraging great teamwork and working culture through mentoring and setting best practices to create ownership of the product and systems within the team.
- Owning the delivery process and methodologies of your team (we use agile) to ensure projects are delivered with high quality and impact on the business.
- Working with our Heads of Engineering, Product and Growth to ensure the planning of our Quarterly and Yearly Roadmaps is done on time and with a constant improvement to our estimation abilities.
- Actively helping our Head of Engineering and People Ops team to scale our recruiting and interviewing process while directly owning recruitment for their own squad.
**About You**:
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics or Engineering related fields.
- Strong knowledge of analytics and predictive modeling, including experience with statistical models, deep learning, and deploying ML models into a production environment
- Strong knowledge of Python and advance SQL
- Deep knowledge using data visualization tools such as Tableau or Metabse
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
English proficiency is required and Spanish proficiency is nice to have.
- Proven track record as a Data Scientist that has grown to Management through the Data Analyst Data Scientist Leadership progression path.
