Eaton's Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Data Scientist.
**What you'll do**:
- Analyze large and complex data sets to extract insights and actionable recommendations.
- Build, test, and deploy predictive and prescriptive models using various techniques and tools.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and present data-driven solutions in a clear and concise manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical guidance and support.
- Prioritizes & delivers all assigned project tasks per project timeline on-time with quality results; performs tasks with a sense of urgency.
- Identifies & communicates status, risks & issues impacting the quality or timeliness of work.
- Stay updated on the latest developments and trends in data science and related fields. #LI-DG2
**Qualifications**:
- Education level required - Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, statistics, mathematics, engineering, or related field.
- Years and area of experience required - At least 3 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or analytics.- Expert in Excel, comfortable in Power BI & familiar with Python, R, SQL, or other programming languages and tools for data analysis and modeling.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and statistical methods.
- Understanding of how to estimate financial impact of changes in commercial factors such as price, volume commitments, cost changes, etc.
- Experience with building models that incorporate parameters and constraints, such as pricing, demand, supply, etc.
- Experience with handling large and complex data sets, including data cleaning, processing, and visualization."
