JOB SUMMARY
Uses analytical, statistical, and programming skills to collect, analyze, and interpret large data sets. Develop data-driven solutions explicitly tailored toward the needs of the organization.
- Defines the business problem statement and identify data sources required for modelling.
- Understand the overall business and analytics technologies to lead a project team and maintain budget.
- Perform multiple forms of advanced analyses.
- Build, test, validate and launch advanced learning algorithms via rigorous test/control experimentation.
- Manipulate data to create new features that could increase the accuracy of an algorithm.
- Translate analytics insights into visualization and actionable business and product decisions
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Under limited supervision and in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:
- Provide insight into data by conducting high-level research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities for business growth.
- Aling data project with organization goals.
- Generate, analyze, and identify trends and patterns from information and insights data sets to find answers to specific questions.
- Defines objective, scope, methods, benefits and captures stakeholders' requirements from an identified problem.
- Oversees the development of software programs, algorithms and automated processes that cleanse, integrate, and evaluate large data sets from multiple disparate sources.
- Collaborate with Data Science team to make sure that all data solutions are consistent.
- Build predictive models by using machine learning algorithms and display results or prediction to end user.
- Prepare and create effective data visualization reports for stakeholders and project team as a result of Data Science projects.
- Develops standards and processes for Data projects and initiatives.
- Applies descriptive, prescriptive, and predictive analytics in model development and assessment.
- Enhance data collection procedures to include all relevant information for developing analytic systems.
- Define the primary outputs of the job being performed such as specific documents like Device Master Records, Technical Files, 510(k)'s, process validation protocols and reports etc.
- Specify what, if any, managing or supervising of individuals and functions the position is responsible for
- Emphasize the strategic or tactical responsibilities of the position
- Include budgetary responsibility if applicable
- Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.
- For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable
- Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
**Qualifications**:
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- Generally, requires 6-8 years' work experience.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Data Science certification completed and/or studying MS in related field.
- Advanced English level.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES and AFFILIATIONS:
- Excellent communication and visualization skills to process insights into a business story.
- Solid understanding of applied statistical skills, including knowledge of statistical tests, distributions,regression,multi-variate regression, maximum likelihood estimators, mathematical skills, and correlations methods.
- Effective listening skills to understand the requirements.
- Solid knowledge in database systems and analysis tools.
- Solid knowledge in data architecture's tools, networks, and components.
