The Role We are looking for a goal achiever and team player who has good analytical and self-management skills. They must have the skillset to go from details to make sense of the big picture and execute different projects, and explore business opportunities. A good candidate must show evidence of being coachable and of adapting to changing conditions in entrepreneurial-type positions or companies. The Payments Platform Strategy team focuses on increasing the use and frequency of use of the Clip's payments platform, while maximizing the transactional margin of each payment type (MSI, credit, debit, international, etc.). Additionally, we support the sales and growth teams of the SMB, and Large Market segments with initiatives and strategy to achieve and surpass their goals. What will I be doing? Gather and analyze information, build data models to formulate and test hypotheses to define business value generation initiatives Execute and promote initiatives in collaboration with other areas like Sales, Marketing, Engineering & Tech, Product Development, Logistics, Growth and others Keep tracking of the implemented initiatives and ensure results Communicate team's recommendations and performance progress to other areas With help of the Leader, execute strategic business improvement projects or initiatives across Clip's distribution channels (e.g., Resellers, Routes, etc.) Ideal Candidate Undergraduate degree in Mexico or abroad in fields such as mathematics, actuarial science, engineering, economics, etc. Strong to superior knowledge of Data Science and Data Mining tools to contribute heavily to the creation of data analyzes that the team needs to evaluate and create strategy Have 2+ years of work experience in management consulting or in startups' departments such as: planning, finance, strategy, performance, etc. Desired Fintech experience Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills Use of R, Matlab, Stata, Alteryx, SQL, Tableau, Power BI etc, or similar Data Analysis and Data Mining softwares Ability to work effectively with different areas through the organization Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, verbally and in writing Fluency in business English and Spanish Clip was born with the genuine idea of financial inclusion and this has been our way of living ever since.
